Keeping you mobile

We offer courtesy cars, on a short term basis, while your vehicle is in our workshop.

There is no charge for the use of the car but we do have to provide you with a fully comprehensive insurance cover note* for which there is a small charge for us to purchase for you on a daily basis. We will ensure there is enough fuel in the loan car for your journey and you only pay for what you use. 

This service is extremely popular and booking times may be in excess of 3 weeks in advance.

FAQs

  • What are your loan car Terms and Conditions?

    In order to be eligible you will need to provide a UK/EU photo driving licence and meet the following criteria - 

    • Have held a valid full UK manual gearbox licence for over 2 years
    • Be over 25 years old
    • Have no more than 8 penalty points
    • Have had no more than 2 at fault accidents in the last 5 years
    • Have not had any criminal convictions in the last 5 years or have any prosecutions pending
    • Are not employed in an insurance categorised 'high risk' career such as a professional sports person or an entertainer


    The insurance excess in the event of an accident is age and risk factor related, starting at £250 and upwards.
